Atieh Sohrabi

Atieh Sohrabi is an Iranian artist based in New York. Her paintings are full of color, women, and the rituals of the table — the gatherings, the serving dishes, the quiet ceremony of Persian daily life, remembered and painted from abroad.

For Sookies she opens the Bazaar, the Persian side of the house: her paintings become the labels of Warm Spice Torshi, The Grand Koofteh, and Qazvin Offering — three blends from the catering kitchen, each wearing one of her works.
